An extract can only be as good as the inputs used to make it. That’s why we extract premium grade flower and never use the industry standard “biomass” which is a blend of the entire plant.
Craft Subcritical CO2 Extraction
To extract only the purest oil from our hemp flower, we use subcritical, or liquid, CO2. Subcritical CO2 extraction utilizes lower temperatures and pressures than the more common supercritical CO2 extraction and has two main benefits:
- Captures the natural chemistry by preserving temperature and pressure sensitive medicinal compounds
- Can remain unrefined since it doesn’t extract high amounts of unwanted plant compounds

No Refinement or Chemicals Necessary
Since we extract only the best flower with subcritical CO2, we eliminate the need for post-processing as the initial, or crude, oil is already so pure.
Most crude oils must be winterized and distilled to remove impurities before being used in a finished product. During these refinement processes, many important compounds are lost due to changes in temperature and pressure.
