Hemp Ban 2026

Help Stop the Federal Ban

As early as November 2026, an estimated 95% of hemp-derived extract products – including our Full Spectrum CBD products – may be classified as Schedule I substances. This shift would severely impact farmers, small businesses, and consumer access.

To prevent this outcome, Congress should extend the current timeline by an additional two years. Doing so would allow more time to pursue clear, balanced regulations rather than restrictive policies that limit access and innovation.

We encourage you to ask your U.S. Senators and Representative to support and co-sponsor S.3686 (Klobuchar/Paul/Merkley), which would extend the hemp moratorium for two years.

Use this form to tell your U.S. Senators and Representative: extend the hemp moratorium and protect American hemp.

Help Stop the Massachusetts Ban

We ask for your support in urging the administration of Maura Healey to oppose the hemp provisions contained in Massachusetts House Bill H.4187, Section 31(b)(1). This section requires that any entity seeking a Cannabis Control Commission endorsement to manufacture consumable CBD products must first hold an unencumbered license to manufacture marijuana-infused products:

“The commission shall not issue an endorsement unless the applicant holds an unencumbered license to manufacture marijuana-infused products issued under this chapter or chapter 94I.”

This effectively places hemp processing and manufacturing under marijuana regulatory authority, which is unnecessary for federally legal hemp products. We urge policymakers to ensure that hemp manufacturers are not required to obtain a marijuana license through the CCC

Additionally, we encourage advocacy at the federal level to remove the 0.4 mg total THC per container restriction, which limits compliant hemp products and harms the growth of the hemp industry.
